The awesome Joe.My.God, who I just realized is probably the world’s most read/famous bear blogger, posted a blog a few days ago about BearForce1. It’s said this is the first bear band. I think I must agree with Joe’s observation, however, that they’re simply the first self-identified bear band. But either way, wow! You simply *must* check out the video below,

From Amsterdam and Belfast, this music video is a hysterical montage of HI-NRG 80’s dance music.

This band, video and songs are both HYSTERICAL and yet, really good! I must admit right now that, generally speaking, the bear community have become one of my favorite sub-groups of the queer community. I believe they are the most accepting of all groups and I find that most every bear gathering, event or bar I’ve been to I have always felt most welcomed, as have my friends. That said… I can’t wait to see BearForce1 perform in the US.
