My True Colors June 19, 2007
Posted by *christuttle* in : tuttle says... , trackbackSo having just returned from LA we’ve already attend both Broadway Bares and Spin Cycle’s True Colors Tour LIFEBeat AfterParty, hosted by LOGO in about 24 hours time. The former photos will come later, but here’s a peak at last night.
In attendance were all kinds of friends and celebs, including: Lisa Spodak, Joe Kovacs with Madame, Trai La Trash, Randy Jones, The Kiki Twins, Adam Klesh, Epiphany, LOGO’s John Polly, Robin Byrd, Village Voice’s Michael Musto and our personal favs… Amanda Palmer from The Dresden Dolls and Beth Ditto from The Gossip. These ladies were both beautiful and SUPER-sweet. Beth’s mom was on hand–also a doll–and neither could have been more fabulous. Seemed Beth took quite a liking to Madame and Joe too and she was so nice we didn’t want to say goodbye.
So below is a sampling of the evening’s photos I took, but be sure to check out this “Creep-y” video of Amanda Palmer & Beth Ditto singing “Creep” at 3am to a handful of the leftover crowd… with special guest appearance by Madame & Joe Kovacs (at the request of Amanda & Beth, no less). Hey Doug above, in many of his pictures Chris always looks like he’s thinking dirty thoughts…thinking penny for them thoughts! Great pics. Trai La must be so awesome in person. Looked like it was a fun night.
