Posted by *christuttle* in : tuttle says... , trackbackReading the Metro paper this morning–one of the mini-papers that are free and that I now buy instead of the NY Post because they increased their cost to $0.50/paper which is too much for a conservative rag that I only read in the first place so that it’d piss me off–I noticed that S’more’s are (supposedly) 80 years old today!! Whoo-hoo!
Truth is no one knows how old they are. But the oldest known “recipe” published is in a Girls Scout book, according to Wikipedia. Hot!
Of course, all I could think about it how we’ll be making s’mores at our Backyard Movie Night… NEXT SATURDAY! Whoo-hoo!

Wait- there’s a RECIPE for a warm marshmallow and chocolate on a graham cracker? Duh. Leave it to us girl scouts.
